View from the first family to buy and live in Bryson. Community that had potential, but now with 306 Apartments being built right next to half a million dollar homes? Almost all of the natural preserved land is going to be parking lot or homes or buildings. It was a nice plan originally presented, but unfortunately as the first buyers and residents in the community we had hoped for more and the developer was not forthcoming with its long term plans. In fact they still do not know fully how they plan to make the most money. Now they will be building 306 Apartments and commercial business area as part of the community. That does not scream down on the farm. We had very high expectations and while some people looking for a new community might be happy with what Bryson has to offer now, it is not the way it was portrayed originally by the developer. The developer has changed plans, rules, builders, etc and only recently been upfront with the total plan to current buyers. I would not recommend buying in this community, especially if you have to sell your home because it will frankly be a nightmare, unless your home is sub $350k. Do not expect to break even if you put any investment into your home at all. Honestly just happy that our home sold at this point. Not a wise investment.
EDIT: And now it appears those with vested interests in the industry are padding the 5 Star ratings. Even worse it appears the developer had the original community plan that I posted removed...There was definitely false advertising to those who first bought homes.

As a REALTOR with Austin Homes Your Way Realty, I see many different types of houses. At the community of BRYSON in Leander, TX, I was wowed by the new homes I saw! You can see quality in the homes and it will honestly be a wonderful community to live in once all of the amenities are finished. Worth the time to check it out!

I will rate 0 start if I can. The worst management team. They created a citation to me of my neighbor’s trash bin and refused to make the correction. Does not work with the resident here at all.
