This is a joke of a medical practice, if you could even call it that. I believe the doctors are good doctors. The rest of the staff, I don't even know what they do. Maybe they are understaffed? Honestly, they didn't seem to care.

Save yourself a lot of time and stress, and find somewhere else to go. If I had insurance, I would... and I will be doing so soon.

You will be a file, not a person. You will wait for months for an appointment. When you get there, you will wait for hours after your appointment time. When you finally get in to talk to someone, you will be rushed through. You better hope you don't have any problems with medication or need to see or talk to anyone outside your regular appointments because that isn't going to happen. And, good luck getting someone to call you back... but of course, they will say they did.

This place is absolutely ridiculous! I have been begging them for 3 weeks to schedule my daughter an appointment to see a doctor for prescription refills. I was very persistent and let them know she only had 30 days worth of medications left. They finally call when she only has one week worth of medications left to let me know they do not have any available appointments and don't know when they will. My daughter will be without medications and they seem unbothered. This is a common complaint from several other patients there also.

The therapists are never there..especially on when you have an appointment. When you're having alot of major problems there's never a therapist to talk to. They don't even try to work you in. The people up front are really sweet helpful but they can only do so much. When you're having problems with your meds it takes weeks for the therapist to write a consult. When you finally see a dr you can't talk to him because it's like he doesn't take enough time to go over he therapists notes. You can't even talk to him for his nurse typing loudly everything you say..which is extremely annoying.

Im not against this place i just wish the system wasnt so broken. A few times i came they couldnt look at my notes because the system was either down or in the process of going down. It takes months to be seen and by that time who knows what all has happened. Once you have been seen they can usually see you monthly if you like but even then its not enough. When your in a crisis i find it a waste to call the crisis line because i feel like they cant do anything but call police or ambulance and take you to the hospital. The hospital isnt always the answer. Im on my 3rd therapist the other 2 either moved or quit in the 2 years ive been with CED. I enjoy the therapist i have now but who knows how long that will last.. honestly its just mixed reviews about CED. sometimes they call you back other times you have to call them again.

Doctor Feist is a brilliant man who still has his health and his mind well in to an age where most doctors of his age have already or at least are planning to retire. I have been fortunate enough to have him as my doctor here for many years. Being that I am on Medicare, I could go to another, more desirable address for my services but see no reason in doing so.

Dr Kushro is the worst Dr I have ever seen. And the therapist I'm centre omg I just was told I have to see some one else after another one is gone. ....They will change your meds the Dr...and tell you that you will be ok. Been on one meds for over 20 years and bam she drops me down from 6mg to 3 mg then changes the meds and goes down again....about time for someone to step in.

This place is a joke! We called for an appointment for a loved one who was suicidal, we got him to agree to come in but he would not agree to go to a hospital, we told them that they said they couldn’t take any patient that day. So we called Centre location and they told us they would call Attalla location bc the only Dr was there that day. That lady was concerned and helpful. Told us to go in anyways and she called them they would see us. We get there only to be told the Dr wil not see him bc she/he was to busy!!! Someone is a patient there they are suicidal and the Dr is to busy Also we asked if we could just wait there until she had time. We were told well there is 4 patients in line and by that time the Dr will be to tired and will refuse to see him anyways! Are you kidding me? If you didn’t call yourself a Crisis Center I would understand. But you do!! This system is so broken and messed up. And this office is part of the problem! Oh and when asked if we could come back the next day we were told know but they could fit us in on Nov 1st!! Thanks we will just sit on our thumbs and do nothing for 2 weeks in hopes that my love one doesn’t kill themself!!!! What kind of Dr are you! Disgusting!!

It takes an act of Congress to actually see a doctor! If you have insurance, don't choose this place. Staff is rude, but Love the therapist Jason. He was the only person who seemed to care if I received help. 5 stars for Jason but 1 on CED mental health care.
