I Love this store, I recently got back into collecting. They have a great variety of comics, collectibles, and a good selection of trading cards. I highly recommend this store if you are ever in beutiful downtown Hanford. God Bless America 🇺🇸 🙏 ❤️

I’ve been a customer of this store for 10 years 2004 - 2015, and in that time, I've seen them host countless card events and tournaments, from Pokémon and Magic: The Gathering to Yu-Gi-Oh! The store has always been a staple in the trading card community, and I’ve always appreciated their efforts to provide a space for people to gather and compete to win prizes.

I’m not here to bash the business; in fact, I want to see them succeed. These kinds of stores are becoming harder to find, and I’m genuinely glad they’ve managed to push through the challenges, including the struggles from the pandemic. They’ve kept going, and that deserves recognition.

However, I have to be honest about my experiences. While I've had some great times here, there have been a few negative ones. These mainly stemmed from the competitive side of the store, particularly during the tournaments. In games like Pokémon and Magic the Gathering, it’s not uncommon for players to get frustrated when they lose. Unfortunately, this sometimes leads to complaints or requests for rematches, especially from sore losers who feel their deck didn’t perform as expected. It can be frustrating when that negative energy spills over and impacts the overall experience for everyone else.

Another point worth mentioning is how they handle card trades. Unless you have a personal connection with the staff, trading cards can feel like a pawn shop experience. The store doesn’t always offer full value for your cards, and while you can expect a decent deal, it’s often far below the market value. For example, if a card is valued at $10,000, don’t be surprised if you’re offered only half of that, or even less. It's a bit discouraging for long-time customers like myself, who expect more fair pricing.

Despite these issues, I still want the store to thrive. They’ve been a part of my life for 10 years, and I’ve seen them bring a lot of joy to the trading card community. If you’re looking for a place to compete, trade, or just browse, it’s worth checking out in my book. Just be prepared for the occasional frustration with the trading process and the sometimes tense atmosphere during tournaments.

I’m rooting for their continued success because places like this are rare, and I’m hoping they can improve the customer experience for everyone. Happy Holidays and Happy New Years 2025!

Great Comic Book shop for New and Older Comics. Alot of books to choose from and even more of a toys/ action figures and sports card. Needed a New Wolverine Comic book and he made sure to save one for me and even call me to let me know it's in the shop waiting for me. Been to a few shops around the Valley and this one is one of the better ones for sure hands down. Staff it very nice and helpful to get new books coming out soon for me. They won me over as a customer even if I have to drive 20mins to get there.👍

Recently moved to Hanford, and got into the trading card world. Went here due to reviews (also it’s the only store like it in town) so no other choice really. However, my experience was far from enjoyable. I went in with some cards with probably no more than $100 in value looking to trade (if possible) and possibly come out of pocket if need be. For some reason, and I can’t put my finger on it let’s just say I got stereotype. I would mention a product by name (knowing the price of course) to see what they had, and instead of telling me if they had it or not they just threw prices out there. Knew it was going to be bad when neither of the guys welcomed me walking through door even though eye contact was made on top of being the only on in the store. Would’ve bought something from these guys even without the trade but just didn’t feel like supporting this business after that. Seems like you have to fit a certain look to be welcomed here.

Mainly magazine and cards. They had some funko pops and anime figurines. They had some cool star wars stuff. The staff there didn't greet us. Too busy in their own conversation. Didn't speak to us much when asked for assistance. Wasn't interested in anything but still bought something just to support a small business. He didn't say anything at all. Strange demeanor.
