Let me start by praising the girl at the register; she's incredibly sweet. The other day, she informed me they could discount donated items by 30%, which thrilled me because I could afford a stroller for my twins that they had there for $20 less. While I was there I noticed a dishwasher, so I returned today to inquire about it as it’s a donated one and mine broke. The dishwasher had no price tag, so I spoke with the guy with dreads. He initially said it had been tested and after he looked at it with me he quoted me $150 for it. I offered $80, but he insisted on $100 as it was the lowest he would take. After consulting my husband, ihr said that 100.00 would be fine. When I asked about the return policy in the event it something was wrong with it, the girl said there wasn't one, just a 30% discount on donated items. The guy then returned to the front , offering $125, which puzzled me since 30% off $150 is $105. And then mentioned well, they had no actual way to test it but the people that donated it it said it worked. Thankfully, someone on Facebook offered a working dishwasher for $70. I declined the mans offer due to their questionable practices considering he said, the lowest was 100 and then try to mark it up to 125. I believe it's an individual issue, not the entire store's issue. Charging more for donated items that doesn’t seem remotely right. That was a price gouge. I understand you have to make money, but when it gets the point of greed then there’s an issue
