New Marriott property with direct access to Rainey Street. Convenient location to downtown and the lake. Christian, at the front desk, was welcoming and knowledgeable of the area. Room was clean and had the most comfortable pillows! Also, was surprised the room had a balcony. Parking was reasonable compared to other hotels in the downtown Austin area, however, the garage is very compact. One elevator was down, which would be the only negative about this stay. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice no frill hotel for a quick trip.

Fantastic hotel within walking distance to all downtown entertainment. The staff was out of this world friendly. I was surprised to see what they had a cool lobby bar that seated about 15 people directly at the bar directly… nice vibe. I will definitely stay again. Nice, clean and new!!

I stumbled into this establishment in the early morning of November 18, desperate for a place to stay after losing my phone downtown and struggling to find a ride home. This was the only location that didn’t want to charge me an early check-in fee or a high rate due to a concert that was going on in the area. The front desk attendant, Michael, was extremely courteous and understanding (give him a raise)! They made me feel safe and supported and seriously saved me from having to sleep on the street. They were even courteous enough to allow me a late checkout so I’d have time to contact a reliable ride home. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an affordable and reliable hotel near downtown Austin!

This is a nice mid scale hotel. The facility and the rooms are nice.The biggest challenge with this hotel is the loud music noise from Rainey St behind the hotel. The hotel provides ear plugs in you room which is the first clue that your room will be loud. |There really isn’t anything the hotel can do but it’s hard to sleep until 100PM with the music sounds in your room,,

Nice clean and modern hotel with friendly staff and close to the main attractions in downtown. However the first hotel room I have ever walked into with a pair of ear buds provided for noise….and I soon understood why…avoid a front room which faces onto a very busy freeway and lots of traffic noise which disrupted sleep…I wouldn’t stay here again unless I was assured a room away from the front of the hotel.
Very expensive parking also at $45!

This hotel is excellent with the perspective of the location. The rooms were comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was very good. The pantry shop has a good selection. The staff are friendly and the lobby is comfortable and features fun games- foosball and shuffleboard. The location is great- a 1 minute walk to Driscoll street and right next to the highway. Now that means there’s music and car noise.

There was moderate noise until easily midnight on a Friday night. If you want to be near Driscoll and Sixth street - this place is great. If you want a quiet hotel because you’re in Austin for other reasons you might consider someplace else if silent evenings are critical to you. I’d stay again.

After flying in and being in meetings all day, by the time I finally checked in, I was exhausted. There's nothing better than being greeted by somebody that genuinely makes you feel like you're glad you chose their hotel. RJ was that person for me. He was welcoming, helpful with information I needed and made my stay not just a bed in a hotel. ||I don't remember her name but there was a lovely lady that was working in the morning. That was also very helpful, friendly and willing to offer help with something I forgot to bring. ||When you travel a lot, it's the little things that matter. Both these individuals made my stay even nicer.
