We recently hosted a Celebration of Life at the Gulf Shores Activity Center, and it was a great experience. Picking up the key was incredibly easy, and the space was already clean and well-maintained when we arrived. We were able to transform it into a beautiful and welcoming area for people to gather and share their memories.

We used both the kitchen and the main floor space, and everything worked well for our needs. The vacuum cleaner isn’t the best, so bringing your own may be helpful.

Overall, great lighting, a good vibe, and an easy process. It worked perfectly for what we needed, and I would absolutely recommend it for events. Thank you to Brian for making it a smooth experience!

Nice Activity Center.
The American Red Cross (ARC) set up in this center today, 16 Aug 2022 to collect blood donations.
There was no indication that ARC was collecting blood here, today. No signs, no flags, nothing. Now you have to go online, answer the questions, and print out a barcode that you did the requirement. Then they ask some of the same questions in the intetview.
Two of the computer processing personnel doing this intact process had their name tag turned around to the blank side so that you could not see their photo ID or name.
The drawing of blood was efficient and without any problems. They had a table set aside with drinks and snacks.
It was very difficult to see who was in charge.
It appeared that no one was in charge of the group. Each person had duties, performed their duties, and everything went smoothly for those drawing blood.
Some of the people giving blood seem to not know the proper proceedure,e.g., wait 15 minutes after donating blood, uncross your ankles because crossed ankles restrict blood flow, do not drink or eat on the donation table but wait until after donating blood.
The worse thing was that there were no signs outside stating to donate blood. The reservation stated donate at Bebos. It should have been listed as the Gulf Shores Activity Center.

The address of 260 Club House Drive is for the Activity Center, 260 Club House Drive, Gulf Shores, AL and NOT for Bebos. I spent about 45 minutes trying to find Bebos in Gulf Shores. The Bebos Car Wash location in Gulf Shores where I remember it was located is now a Shell gas station.
Luckily, I stopped at the Fire Dept, Gulf Shores and he directed me to Club House Drive. I drove past 260 Club House Drive because the sign is very tiny and located at the driveway entrance.
Turning around and going back to Club House Drive, I saw the Red Cross on the van in the BACK of the Activity Center and figued that must be the location. From the photos attached you can see that there are no signs that ARC is in the building or collecting blood.
