My mom and I drove an hour to come to this store. Our first visit a customer and manager are arguing and threats to call the police were being yelled. My mom and I just carried on and got out of the way to look around. This store is trashed. There are several aisles you can't even take a cart through.
I went through the glass canister's and there was glass lids that were cracked and canister's that were missing the plastic seal. I brought it to the attention of the manager that one canister with the seal is marked for only $2.00 while another canister missing the seal is marked for $3.00. I was asking for it to be reduced to match the other ones price of $2.00 even though it is missing a piece. The manager would only take .50 off making me pay more for the one missing it's seal. The manager walked out I explained to the other worker I think she misunderstood what I was asking and she refused to make any adjustments and said that is her boss.
I was trying to be positive and say that I like the lamp I found for $10.00 and the manager said I wouldn't pay $10.00 for that and walked out of the store. Insulting my purchase.
My mom was interested in a small end table and the price was $30.00. She asked if she could get a discount cause the price for a used end table it was kind of high. She asked how much are you willing to pay she told them $20.00. so they say will you pay $25.00. my mom said no I am willing to pay $20.00. It was not worth that much at all.
The attitude of the employees there is awful and the customer service simply lacks warmth.
Needless to say we will never be back to that store. I wouldn't be surprised if this store goes bankrupt. $300 for a used damaged and stained couch and many other items that are extremely overpriced. Also my mom had to correct the cashier because she tried to overcharge for her purchase. The cashier realized her mistake and adjusted the amount due.
I wish I would have captured pictures had I have known I was going to end leaving a review.

Clean your store.
Mark down your prices.
Remove broken items.
Have items consistently priced.
And train everyone on better customer service and basic math skills.

I wasn't going to Post anything about this, but I decided it is always best to share the truth with people. One week after my sweet mama went to heaven I had my daughter go up to Habitat Restore to purchase a dryer for me because at the time I couldn't go anywhere, or make any decisions as my grief was larger than life. So when the "gently used" dryer was delivered, which by the way I paid 315.00$ for, it didn't get hot. So I called them, they were supposed to send someone out the next day, well he came out and said he would be back to replace the fuse...2 or 3 days later, AFTER I called them, he came and replaced the fuse, never saying a word, never got a call from anyone, the dryer still didn't work. So I called them back 3 times the day after he came out and NOT ONCE did I recieve a call from the manager or anyone. About a week later I finally called and spoke with Shae, the manager, who thought they had already made right the wrong by bringing me another dryer. Wrong again lady! So on this past Saturday at about 930pm, she brought another dryer out, that didn't have a cord, so she left to go get a cord, put it on, made sure the dryer worked, then took it off and told my grandson that WE could go buy one at Marvins...I realize this is a resale store, but the money I spent I should've been treated more appropriately. DO BETTER!!! I wouldn't have even given it ONE star, but had to in order to post this!!!

Absolutely rude was told a price one day came to pick up the merchandise and was called a liar after the employee took my money and had to wait an hour for a refund to which the manager told me when they tell you a price it’s only good for that one day overall disrespectful and poor business will not go back and if anyone asks I will not recommend this place

I understand you all need to make a living and everything and you need to pay employees and whatnot but Lord Jesus you are high out your mind on your prices on your flooring on everything you pretty much at box store prices that's absolutely ridiculous then if you walk out without anything they called the phone number on the back of your truck and accuse you of stealing something

The Black lady/ Manager of the store. Very rude the manager of the store. Tell lies to people about mattresses. Called on Thursday at 4pm and said they had mattresses and came Friday morning the manager said they didn’t.. why lie to customer…Most unmanager she is. Will not be getting my business anymore.

I purchased furniture for my elderly disabled mother. I paid a delivery fee and scheduled a morning delivery date and time around her other appointments . The afternoon of the delivery I contacted the store to be told the delivery person wasn’t available due to being sick (no phone call was made by the store). During the conversation I was made aware that had they delivered the furniture they would not enter her home therefore leaving it in the yard. The furniture would have needed to be placed in her home by someone else due to “the pandemic” . I wasn’t told that at the time the arrangements were made. I had also informed the cashier that some of the furniture would need to be placed upstairs so the delivery personnel would be made aware. There was adequate time for me to be told they would not enter her home. Being she had no one to help with this I canceled the order. At that time I was told a full refund would not be issued. She would be changed a 20% “restocking fee” for merchandise that never left the store.
A few days later she purchased furniture elsewhere. That furniture was delivered and placed inside her home despite “the pandemic’. I feel as though she wasn’t treated with courtesy or fairly. Isn’t the whole concept of the store to help the community?

Associates were super polite, and asked if any help was needed.. they came to car to get the items to donate.. they asked if they could help us out with the items we purchased..
And even called the other listing in brewton to see if they had exterior doors; when we asked about inventory.. will gladly drive to the brewton restore for further shopping and recycling opportunities..

Crabby blonde haired cashier always closes 15 min early to go pick up her baby. Snippy, has attitude sighes when ringing up your items. Makes hugg noise. RUDE RUDE RUDE and I am definetly NOT going back>>multiple times and same cashier same attitude
Everytime I have been there after 4 pm cashier lets customers know they are an inconvenience. So very sad it is supposed to be a resource for the community.. Waste of resources!
