All of Dothan Medical Field Services has to do better with caring & attending to patients . DHD, Medical Center, Flowers Hospital, & all urgent care in the surrounding areas I called and made an appointment today they scheduled me for one for the 14th then canceled my appointment until that Friday due to training so I basically has to be in pain until Friday which is ridiculous

I'm surprised at some of these comments. I've never had any problems here, but I've only been here for WIC and applying for a birth certificate. Almost all the ladies I've dealt with where pretty nice and got the job done. Only one got on my nerves due to her inconsiderate comments.

Annette is a very rude and inconsiderate inefficient health department worker. My husband does not speak great English and was treated without understanding and was made to go back home and back to the health department 4 times in 1 day! Guess what she had a copy of said needed information all along! When I called to make a complaint and speak to her supervisor she tried to argue with me and call my husband a liar and then after 2 minutes hung up on me. Miranda is a great health department staff and this problem needs to be addressed because I have never been treated like this and I don’t know if it’s because he doesn’t speak English well or what but it’s irresponsible and frustrating.

Other than the receptionist that has worked there for years and literally hates her job, everyone was so nice and attentive. The doctor in family planning is magnificent! She was very nice, and explained things very well. You can tell she really cares.

After trying to help someone with a ride to this place I completely understand why Houston County has elevated STD rates. Only 4 people a day are seen, and you have to get there before the posted 8am time. Wow. Hope I never have that issue!

A great place for poor and low income. Has a great STD clinic and birth control department thats free to low cost medical care and free flu shots. Prenatal care and many more departments. Does not have a dental clinic. The closest Dental clinic is in Montgomery. Dothan needs a real “based on income” dental clinic.

I visited this place multiple times with symptoms of an STI and was denied any treatment each and every time. Dismissive, rude and useless.

If you no longer take appointments for a service PLEASE update it on your website or ATLEAST have someone who can answer the phone because looking to the website is the only other option when someone has questions about services and times
