Rudest run establishment in Jackson County! It doesn’t matter what office you go in tag, license, circuit court, mapping and appraisal … all of them have the worst attitude! Systems, payment options, website and more is all outdated. Everyone seems inconvenienced and irritated that you have walked through their door!

If you're ever arrested and your trial is here, do everything you can to get it moved. Judge Jenifer Holt and DA Jason Pierce are either two of the most corrupt people in the judicial system or two of the dumbest to ever hold their position.

The 2022 Trade day and the BBQ Festival on the square were very family friendly, fun outings for everyone, strolling through downtown Scottsboro was relaxing and very enjoyable. Lots of fun and good food.

I think that the courthouse is one of the best parts of Scottsboro. It always looks nice on the inside and out. I received my boating license here and it was a very nice experience. My grandfather also used to take me in the do different things when I was little. Five Stars

There is one person working in the license department. You are required to sign in and line up against a concrete wall and stand. No chairs are provided and sitting on the floor is prohibited. There were several elderly people that had been standing well over an hour when I arrived. I have a broken ankle and had to stand an hour and a half to find out I couldn’t get what I needed. A young man came in for a cdl study book while I was there and the employee refused to simply hand him a book. He was told to sign in and stand in line.

The license lady is very rude and doesn’t care if you get to see her or not I done been more than 5 times and still haven’t gotten my license cause she says she doesn’t have the time to do it when I got there at 8:00 and stayed there til 3:00

This has to be the absolute rudest facility I’ve ever been associated. The officers are mean, degrading, and act like you are so beneath them. If I don’t have to do service with them then I will not!
