Edit: I called at 11:40am today 3/29/25 and Mykayla answered and took my payment immediately. She was just back from her time off or a vaca. But, she didn't hesitate to take my payment and was very helpful. I don't know why noone else was able or willing but Mykayla was EXCEPTIONAL and she need a raise because, she's the only one that knows what's going on at Lakeland Hospital.

I had test ran on 2/17/25. My claim was submitted to my insurance company and they paid their part on 2/27/25. I have been trying to pay my part ever since and CANNOT get anyone to tell me how to do that. I haven't received a statement and I have requested one twice. I've left numerous voicemails and am at a loss as to how on earth this hospital get's paid. This is VERY POOR SERVICE. Noone seems to know who I need to talk to, to take my money?!?! It almost makes me think they don't want my money. I better not get a ding on my credit report as I have great credit and have worked on it for years only to be left wondering now what to do. I'm VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!

My family and I have always received great care when we have been to ER. When we have outpatient test, we have never had to wait. They are very caring about their patients.

Lakeland community hospital, is such an amazing part of our little community of Haleyville, AL. All of the staff is always friendly and supportive! They are always there to answer question! The Registration staff was super friendly and very helpful with any questions or concerns that I had! The nurses were very comforting any time I was worried! I will always Recommend Lakeland Community Hospital!

The heavy set red curly hair nurse was very rude and treated my ole man like he was a joke and made rude comments after him coming back to get IV antibiotics at the ER as the Dr recommended the night before. In our opinion she is in the wrong line of work. She should not be responsible for the well being of others period.

My mother has to go here at times. For a smaller hospital they have very good testing and rehab care. I am very thankful for this hospital.

I was in and out - passing out when I was taken to Lakeland Hospital. The doctor attacked me - hitting my chest hard and then digging his fist into my chest. He hit me so hard he knocked the breath out of me and he hollered - Oh look! She is awake and responding - It is a miracle!” He said “Hurts right!? I am gonna keep doing it until you respond to me! I started backing away from him and the nurse crying loudly with my hands raised in front of me I have a bruise on my chest. - They called the cops and had me kicked out of the hospital - No wheel chair and I had no shoes on..- and was throwing up.. I would not send my dog here!

My sister was admitted to the Senior Ward (the psych ward) after an adverse drug event in the nursing home where she was living. We were told that they had an Integrated Behavioral Health Psychiatrist who "did rounds" M, W & F. They had her in there almost two weeks, during which time the Psychiatrist prescribed additional medications, which created severe adverse drug events. Only to discover that the psychiatrist NEVER even met my sister in person to evaluate her. He "evaluated" her by video. And now we're dealing with the consequences. Be careful.
