I've never been that close to a RAT in my life!! The little kids and I came in 40 minutes before closing in search of a plant; this location does not sell plants. We walked each aisle of the store. On the very last aisle we strolled, a rat jumped off one shelf and onto the end cap less than 2' away from us. I grabbed my heart, and we scurried to the front counter. Once I was able to collect myself to speak, I told the cashier that there was a rat in the store. She kindly stated that the workers knew about it/them, and they all hear them in the ceilings at night. I always thought rodents hid in the daylight...

This store's rat infestation appears to be normalized. That's unfortunate that they work under those conditions and circumstances. My family and I will not return to this store. I hope this is remedied for the workers and patrons.
