Leaving 5 stars, although there were a few things/details that just weren’t there that I would prefer to be! Amber was wonderful to my little family… truly! I felt so accommodated and like we were an important guest! Very communicative. The building is older and the rooms are quite loud, you can hear many footsteps of other guests! There were several little bugs in the corners of the rooms. There is a dumb-waiter that didn’t function, however I think we could’ve asked Amber how to access this? We just assumed it was out of service. It is next to a busy and louder street - so be prepared for those sounds! We didn’t use the pool but it looked nice and the property is very well kept and beautiful! There are loads of activities to do, as well

River Ranch Inn is a heavenly place with deep spiritual ties. I wish I could move here it has made such an impact on my life while visiting. We have stayed here for about a month total and I would highly recommend coming and experiencing the rooms and the staff is totally amazing! Thank you to the owners and staff here and you get 5 stars from me!!!!!

I don't understand why you would repaint this iconic landmark that had tons of beautiful colors and immense charm into a bland, sterile, corporate, white, multifunctional facility. It sucks to see boring white "modern" designs, and it's even worse when it's done to an older building. If you read this, please know that you've sucked the soul out of this amazing building for your own gain.

What a wonderful place for a weekend getaway! The grounds are beautiful and were peaceful to walk around. The river is easy to access and the provided paddle boards and kayaks are in great condition. The pool was relaxing and clean and the jacuzzi was the perfect temp. The owner is responsive and easy to communicate with! We would highly recommend as a fun staycation!

Terrible business. They closed off the only public swim hole in liberty hill for themselves. They put up fences, barbed wire and private property signs all around the area where hundreds of local families used to swim for free. It’s a beautiful river and is now only accessible through this selfish rich families tacky hotel costing almost 200$ a night. Shameful.
(After comparing reviews liberty hill blue hole and this places business, I also discovered, they tore down most of the trees and greenery along the river that made this spot so beautiful and private feeling. The part with the rope swing where people to swim is open and bare compared to it once being so lush and so thick you couldn’t see any of the hotels property.)

They have destroyed the beautiful swimming hole that so many people grew up here using. They’ve loaded so much fertilizer in that small area of the river that it went from crystal clear to a disgusting algae pool.

Wow! We loved our visit to the River Ranch Inn! We live locally in Liberty Hill and we have been curious about this place since moving here, so we decided to book some rooms to celebrate our birthdays. We booked 4 of the rooms and were able to welcome some of our local friends to spend the day/evening with us. We were not disappointed! The Inn and grounds are absolutely beautiful and each room has its own charm and energy (photos do not do them justice at all). It was a bit of a dreary weekend with the weather being rainy and cooler, but we still enjoyed the hiking trails, skipping rocks on the river, bird-watching, the bamboo forest fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub, and food/laughs with our family and friends! The uniqueness of the fire pit surrounded by bamboo was our favorite! The walking paths that were paved were amazing since it was raining off and on so we didn’t get muddy (unless we wanted to) and we could still use the wagons/strollers to bring some of our younger kids down to the river. We also had the pleasure to meet the owners and they are so hospitable and kind! We and our friends had a few requests during our stay and they responded promptly every time! We hope to return soon! Thank y’all for sharing y’all’s dream with us!

What an incredibly relaxing and beautiful visit! I highly recommend River Ranch Inn for any occasion-it is literally heaven on earth! The pool, grounds, trails, and river setting are a hidden gem in Liberty Hill, Texas! Amber is the sweetest…you will not regret choosing River Ranch Inn!
