What a fabulous office! I am so impressed by the knowledge and compassion of each doctor! They both obviously care deeply about each patient. The entire staff are so welcoming, friendly and helpful and make you feel at home. It truly makes going for that visit much easier. Also, as an aesthetics patient, my skin has never looked so amazing! Do yourself a favor and check out all their options! I am absolutely thrilled to have found them!

I went for my annual check up in early January. The visit went well. I did let the front desk know when I got there that I needed to be done within an hour of my appointment time because I also had to work. (At my previous visit, I waited for two hours.) I was seen quickly, and had a good checkup. The problem began with the follow-up. I have an ongoing problem, and I called Monday morning to ask if something different could be prescribed because what I had was not working. The nurse's message line stated calls would be returned no later than the next business day. Today is Wednesday. I called again this morning and told the receptionist I was still waiting for a call from Monday. She transferred me to the nurse's line. I left another message. This afternoon around 2:15 p.m., the receptionist called and said the doctor said I would need to be seen. I explained I had another appointment in about a month. She said she would call back -- and she did -- but offered me two different appointments -- one two weeks away and another one week away. I asked what I could get in the meantime, and also asked if I could talk to a nurse about the problem. She said she would ask. Nothing. Nada. No call from a nurse. I am very disappointed in the lack of concern I was shown for a problem that we discussed during my appointment.

Dr. Guepet and SWS have been incredible ever since I have become a patient here 5 years ago! She and her nurses are always available, communicative, and reliable every time I call and make an appointment! They listen and take the best care of their patients. This practice is amazing if you’re looking for all around women’s heath!

I have been a patient at Southern Women’s Specialists (SWS) for many years, receiving weekly injections and regular skin care treatments during much of this time.
I’ve experienced firsthand the compassionate, professional care that defines this practice.
While I’m not a fan of their computerized phone system (though that seems to be everywhere these days, from my hair salon to Walmart, to my pharmacist), the kindness and attention I receive at this medical practice —from the front desk to the doctors—more than makes up for it.
The entire staff makes me feel like a favorite patient. From Ms. Theresa’s cheerful advice, to Jenny and Kristen’s attentive care, to Maria and Kristi’s consistent helpfulness, to Dr. Guepet and Dr. Pearson’s thorough explanations and sometimes frank and honest encouragement, I’ve always felt well cared for.
The treatment I receive from this practice makes me confident that I am receiving the very best medical care available.
As someone who’s seen more than her fair share of doctors over the years, I wholeheartedly recommend SWS to any woman seeking excellent, thoughtful medical care (with the small caveat that I wish I could talk to a real person every time I call!).

This review comes years too late, since at the time I was young and did not understand what was wrong. Now, however, I know better— and I strongly advise choosing a different clinic.

As a minor, I was put through an excruciating pelvic exam at this clinic, one that continued despite my clear distress and verbal communication that I was in pain. The doctor also either did not fully understand the condition I was diagnosed with (vaginismus) or did not care enough to explain it to me accurately, as the information I received was incomplete and misleading. I now struggle to trust doctors due to this experience.

I am only sharing this now because someone I know has recently had an experience with the same doctor that left her in tears. She described the doctor as condescending, as if she was being lectured, and was questioned excessively about her medications— medications that are prescribed and monitored by another doctor. She left this clinic feeling small and unheard, and resolved immediately to not go back.

Spare yourself from this kind of treatment and seek a clinic that provides both competent care and respectful bedside manner.

I went to sws because I was struggling with hormonal acne and no form of regimen was working to fix it. After my visit with Dr. Guepet, I noticed drastic changes in my skin and ultimately my confidence! Their aesthetics team is also incredible (Kristen I love you)! Couldn’t recommend them more!

I've been going there for years. My appt typically came in Dec. I had an appt on the books for a year in 2023. They texted to say my appt had been cancelled days before my appt so I called to see what the problem was since it had been in the book for a year. They informed me that my NP was no longer there and had in fact left months before. Here again in 2025, they unapologetically did the EXACT same thing again- sent a text my appt was cancelled. Again, I called only to find out my new NP had left months before my scheduled appt. I’m not sure why it’s an issue to make a SIMPLE phone call to patients who are scheduled with people who no longer work there but it’s a real pain to have to keep rescheduling and trying to figure out what the problem is with this office. Other than that, I absolutely loved the two NPs that I saw there, and I hate that they left. This second situation with the office made me very aware that I too need to leave.

I have been going to this office since 2016. I have seen both doctors and nurse practitioners as well, and have always been satisfied. The new office lady that I met today was just such a wonderful person and made you smile as soon as you talked to her. I will recommend this gynecology office to every person, especially women in their young 20’s, I have always felt comfort and never any worry from them.
