I love this community! My family and I visited and the staff was so welcoming. As a former Property Manager, I understand what it takes to manage multiple properties with lots of tenants with different needs. What makes the difference here is the management staff and their commitment to their tenants. Meeting a staff who is genuinely accommodating and cares about their tenants is why we are making this community our next home. So exciting!

Edit as of 3/12: It's been 2 weeks and I've yet to hear from any manufacturer regarding this issue. I had to call back in to the maintentance/account services number today for an update. I was left on hold for over 25 minutes only to be told a maintenance supervisor would call me back today and given an email address to send my electric bills to to hopefully receive a credit because we're being improperly billed. This is ridiculous at this point.

This has been hands down one of the most unacceptable experiences I've ever had as a new tenant. We have had issue after issue and have only lived here 2 months. We were rushed to sign the lease and move in before the Christmas holiday, to take advantage of their move-in promotion, yet everything since move in day has been one frustration after another. We had no smart code or key lock information to enter our house the morning we moved in, after I went in person to the leasing office the Friday prior to assure everything was in place for a seamless move-in. We never received any emails regarding the smart home entry and were left waiting outside until someone was able to give the leasing office staff a code to give us. In addition, Optimum is their ISP you're required to use and they are a disaster. This community is under a "bulk account" that not a single customer service rep at Optimum knows about and every time there is an issue with the internet (which is often in the 2 months of living here), it's a constant runaround. The homes are new, but we already had to report 3 maintenance issues upon move-in, 2 of which had to then be contracted out to 3rd parties to fix. The windows also fall out of the walls inside the home at any time, which is frightening. Currently our HVAC unit cannot handle the 20 degree temperatures we're currently having in the Austin area. The only options are to submit a maintenance request through the app (with no option for emergency requests) and the soonest available appointment is a week from today...when the weather is currently 20 degrees, how will an appointment a week later help? Anytime we call the Tricon phone number, the wait time is hours to speak to anyone and it also takes at least that long when you request a call back. I understand the staff in the leasing office clearly have their hands tied because it's up to the other departments to handle, but the constant runaround is unacceptable. I suggest everyone do their research before renting here, as I also find the 5 star reviews hard to believe after what I've experienced in the short time here.

Today Alvaro from Maintenance Team at Tricon Residential Saddle Creek Team came out to my home to work on the work orders I had sent recently via the portal. He fixed, resolved, addressed the repairs:

Fixed the refrigerator ice box and replaced the water filter.
Fixed the garage door that made a loud noise,
Fixed smog alarm.
Fixed the 3 doors (Master Bedroom, Master Bedroom Bathroom, Bedroom second floor) that wouldn’t shut right and hinges on one of the doors the one in the Master Bedroom.
Tested the lawn sprinklers to ensure they work.

He was professional, efficient, and he ensured a safe and comfortable living environment. I would like to thank you for the amazing work and service it was done on time, done right, your commitment to excellence is reflected in your work. Your ability to manage tasks effectively and deliver results on time is impressive. Alvaro went above and beyond he is an asset to Tricon Residential Maintenance Saddle Creek Team.

We were able to schedule a self-tour on a Sunday when the leasing office was closed and love the community! The homes are beautiful and the amenities look great. We worked with Kat Wilhite who was truly so helpful, not only did she verbally review information but she also sent really helpful information graphics over so that we could reference everything she shared. In speaking with Kat, she not only helped answer questions I had but also reviewed common questions, which to me reflected that she really cares about the experience. She has been very responsive and made our decision to submit an application an easy one!
