got approved to move in with my kids, they ran my background and denied me falsely. I wasn't ever charged with anything, they denied me without speaking to me, when I had paper work to prove my case. This was discriminatory and I plan on taking action.

the kids are bad, the parents are no better, & it is what make the community bad. The landlord is excellent. I just wish ppl kids and parents stay on their own property. They don’t respect people’s properly or where u live. Someone is always fighting, theft as well, arguing and not minding their business.

I stayed out here since 2017. My sink in the kitchen and my toilets upstairs have been leaking since that year. ( I kid you not literally has been leaking since 2017 on and off!!) Tamika is always busy but nothing's never done so I don't know what she spends her day doing besides looking at the computer and talking to housing. They're hardly ever in the office, they go through maintenance man like they go through drawers on a daily basis. I wouldn't recommend this neighborhood to anybody the apartment seems nice and pretty, but they are raggedy as s***. They literally paid neighborhood boys under the table to fix up these houses with a professional. Which explains why it is the way it is. It has been confirmed that there is black mold in my apartment. Tamika received these results a year and a half ago, since then I had not moved after requesting an emergency move and threaten to sue. Finally I have been approved for a home and moving out of this mold infested apartment🙄

moved there almost two years ago i hated that place. it was always issue after issue with a neighbor or someones kids and then i felt as though i was always being singled out no matter how hard i tried it was always something. i would never recommend this place to anyone who has a section 8 voucher move elsewhere if u know what is best for u. the management will not work with u in no type of way. we were put out due to our housekeeping because apparently it was not up to par for them. so was countless others i know part of it was my fault but these are the kinda people who dont give a damn about u or your kids or any circumstance me and my children are practically homeless due to the mentality and nerve of these people and their rules. if u have a voucher that is project base i suggest u move elsewhere and trust me im not bitter or hate these people its just not the place for u if dont keep your house spotless that is what they expect and it is not always going to be that way so just a word of advice for those who want to move here look elsewhere because they dont give a damn about u or your family they only care about what their people think.

Well my name is Abria Brown-Spriggs, I'm not from Columbia SC, but I received a letter in the mail asking if I would like to be on the waiting list for the new and upcoming apartments that they are trying to build now...I can see that the area and the apartments would be a wonderful place to live. I have 2 babies and one on the way, and I'm just waiting on my opportunity to experience this new change in a different, and new environment, I dont know if the apartments would have a coded gate around it so that the complex could be a safer place, but I feel myself that, that would be nice to have especially for those with younger kids, I myself is a young mom and is from Augusta Ga, born and raised and I will be the most excited if I was one of those people to become a neighbor/resident in the The Village at Rivers Edge apartments...And I think also that it would be nice for the owner of the page to post the listings of schools and also show more photos of the apartments the ones, already complete, and whats close to the apartments to shop for groceries, so forth and so on...I cannot wait for my chance and also give my kids a chance to grown up in a better environment...
